total noob here please forgive me #154

I made my API key but I dont know how to append it into the code

I'm going to assume you're on windows.

In the folder steamgrid.exe is in, you should right click the window (not the file) and click something like "Open in Terminal" or "Open in CMD" or "Open in Powershell"

Then you type .\steamgrid.exe -steamgriddb [apiKeyHere]
