4 years ago So, I´ve had to search for what type of overlay i was going for, so after searching for already made packs of overlay, which i´ve indeed found on the steamgrid subreddit :
If you don´t want, or especially can´t, contact them on Reddit, I can ask them myself their autorization to be included in that one.
However, I tried to do mines aswell, and stayed on the Crowbar Collective/New Blood Interactive format of overlay (Which have strangely the same form).
And here´s a couple of previews, applied on one such particular New Blood Interactive steam game cover. (Also inclued the one i´ve recreated from the already made legacy overlays)
¨Live tests¨ and opinions are extremely encouraged. The icons used for my overlays has been outsourced from the Noun Project https://thenounproject.com The used font is Motiva Sans, used in some areas of the Steam website UI. I´ve inclued the GNU Image Manipulation Program project file, in a .xcf format, as well as a saved .PSD Photoshop compatible project file. OVERLAYS.zip

Now trying to apply them to the roms =P
Don’t get me wrong, the classic format is still used trough Steam Picture, and trough some parts of the library UI, so the original format of the overlays are still useful. However, They start to be not as useful, now with the new format, why not start making new overlays for it now? Already made one for the broken category, based on the original one.
