This repo creates a paper that conducts an analysis on the crime numbers of the Greater Toronto Area broken down by neighbourhoods. The paper identifies neighbourhoods with high crime numbers and explores the relationship between specific crimes and total crime numbers.
To use this folder, click the green "Code" button", then "Download ZIP". Move the downloaded folder to where you want to work on your own computer, and then modify it to suit.
The repo is structured as:

contains the files used to generate the paper, including the Quarto document and reference bibliography file, as well as the PDF of the paper. scripts
contains the R scripts used to simulate, download and clean data.Aspects of the code were debugged and evaluated using ChatGPT. The written sections were entirely completed without the help of ChatGPT. All coding elements (including graphs and tables) were initially coded without ChatGPT but may have been later ran through ChatGPT for debugging and correcting purposes. Many uncertainties that occured during the coding process were also solved with the help of ChatGPT.
