I have the feeling that the ordering of referencers generated from *.bib.xml is fixed to Author, year ... It would be good to allow other orderings there. For instance, I would really like to use LaTeXML to generate personal publication lists. There it would be good to just be able to order them by date only.

yeah, sorting on Author, Year is kinda built in (and then it uses it to add a,b,c, suffixes). Not sure the best when to make an option available to it (maybe parsing *.bst files!?). Should eventually be doable, but not for awhile.

Hmm... How do I say that issue depends on #469?
