Hi Bernhard; Actually, except for LaTeXML not being able to put a rule in the middle of the acronyms list, I don't see any significant differences. The captions seem to have the same content in both LaTeXML and pdflatex; only the figure environment shows "Abbildung", but it does that under both systems. You mentioned list of figures, but there wasn't one: when I added it, it looks the same in both systems -- only showing the figure environment, not the Pfig ones.
Maybe I'm overlooking differences somewhere in the half dozen pages of output; Perhaps you could reduce the example to something like a single page where the difference is clear?
Hi, I have prepared a test case of my document in the attachment. The problem is twofold: When I generate a new environment Pfig which is close to figure and I use the capt-of package to generate a caption the "Abbildung" (figurename) is not shown. When the environment is changed to figure, it is. Furthermore the optional shortcaptions which are supposed to be used in list of figure are always shown in figure caption. The addition of shortcaption is not be changed be myself, the Pfig environment I could get rid of. However, in pdflatex this works well.

(BTW something is still fishy with the acronym package from GitHub)
