myLeave

Project Overview

myLeave is a user-friendly application designed to streamline and simplify the process of submitting and managing leave requests within an organization. This system features a dual interface catering to both regular users and administrators.

Users can easily submit leave requests through a straightforward form, attaching necessary documents directly within the app. Administrators, on the other hand, can efficiently review, approve, or reject these requests based on leave availability. Additionally, administrators have comprehensive access to the leave history of all users.

Features

User Roles

• User: Submits leave applications via a form.
• Admin: Reviews and approves/rejects leave applications. Accesses the leave history of users.

Leave Application Submission

• Users can fill out a leave application form with details such as leave type, start/end dates, and the necessary documents in the form of PDF directly within the app.

Leave Application Review

• Admins receive leave applications and can review them.
• Admins have the ability to approve or reject leave applications based on leave availability.

Leave History

• Admins can access the leave history of users, including past leave applications and their status.

Installation

1. Fork this repository.
2. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/bsoc-bitbyte/myLeave.git

3. Open the project in Android Studio.

4. Build and run the app on your connected device using Android Studio.

Note: Make sure you have the necessary dependencies and Android SDK installed to build and run Android apps.
