[CAL-3077] Manage Email Templates Separately #13529

Is your proposal related to a problem?

I'm frustrated when I want to create a consistent email experience between events and I can't figure out how to create + re-use an event's custom email templates.

Describe the solution you'd like

I would like a section of the app dedicated to managing notification templates so they can be standardized and re-used across events.

Describe alternatives you've considered

It appears my only alternative is to manually create event workflows and copy-and paste definitions just so that the user can get a notification when an event is scheduled. Seems a little ridiculous.

i see what you mean.

customising emails has been on my mind for a while now.

also being able to add your own SMTP and domain

we'll look into this, tho its a major project and touching email is always tricky and risky

I think the templating system itself works fine. But the only templates are either "reminder" or "custom".

Whatever system that's using, just pull it out of Workflows and make it its' own thing. Then load the templates in the dropdown. I'm sure there are a ton of things you COULD do for branding the emails... courier.com or a couple other services out there do a great job at that.

For now just letting me populate that dropdown with my own templates would be huge.

Thanks!
