Capturing additional check-in/check-out details , such as arrival/departure times/notes/offline payment made(also there should be a way for the receptionists to see the amount to be charged.)

Appointment Management Interface : Explore the possibility of offering a dedicated receptionist interface or web app. This interface could provide features like: A real-time view of upcoming appointments. Easy access to check-in/check-out functionality for each appointment. Search and filter capabilities for appointments.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Using webhooks to send data to an external database, then creating a receptionist ui and the receptionist gets to manage the check ins and checkouts from there .
