Sign up button is broken #171

Describe the bug Clicking the 'Sign up' button does not sign me up on eventviewer

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Sign in
  2. Go to event on calendar
  3. Click sign up

Expected behavior I should appear in the attendance of the event
