MySQL Backup Manager 1.4.4

MySQL Backup Manager automates the process of taking daily MySQL database backups. The software consists of a Windows service, which handles the creation and cleaning up of backups, and a UI to modify which databases are backed up, and when these backups are scheduled.

Installer packages are available for download on the Releases page.

Updating

• If you're updating from version 1.3.0 or earlier, please uninstall the MySQL Backup Manager before running the install. Your settings and existing backups will remain intact.
• After version 1.4.0, the installer will automatically take care of the update. Your settings and existing backups will remain intact.
• Version 1.4.2 and 1.4.4 have a new configuration file structure for database backup settings. The old configuration file will be automatically updated; a backup copy is kept just in case.

System Requirements

• OS: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008
• Processor: 1 Ghz
• RAM: 512 MB
• HDD: 15 MB
• prerequisites: MySQL Server installation and .NET framework 4.5 (.net Framework will automatically be installed if it is not found.)

Since this software is open source, you're free to grab the source and make your own modifications. This project is licensed under Creative Commons 3.0 license.

This project is currently maintained with Visual Studio 2013 Community Edition with the Visual Studio Installer Projects plugin.

You can always make your own modifications if needed, but I'll recommend that you share your modifications with us here at GitHub, so we can get your modification as part of the main application.
