This repository serves as the entrypoint for all internal and external contributors. Please follow the steps outlined below, respective to your contributor type.

Internal

Includes employees, interns, and fellows i.e. people working for the Data Department.

Onboarding

Check the issues in this repository for an onboarding issue with your name in the title. If one doesn't exist, do one of the following:

• New employees and interns should create an issue with the onboard-internal template.
• Returning employees and interns should create an issue with the onboard-returning template.

Offboarding

Check the issues in this repository for an offboarding issue with your name in the title. If one doesn't exist, do one of the following:

• Interns should create an issue with the offboard template.
• Employees offboard via a more formal internal HR process. Please contact your immediate supervisor for more information.

External

Includes contractors, vendors, partners, and collaborators i.e. people working with the Data Department.

Onboarding

• Read CONTRIBUTING.md and then create a new issue using the onboard-external template.

Offboarding

• Email the CDO or contact @ccao-data/core-team for next steps.
