Virgin mode #113

hello I selected the virgin mode (developer mode). Please help to exit this virgin mode. Thanks

You can do it only if you hawe a car from what is this radio . Its gonna be unlocked on motherhood car or UCH from this car. You want to use another(used) radio on your car eith newest firmware?

Yes I bought rlink2 opportunity because mine was broken I installed on my vehicle and the car radio tells me it is blocked

Hello. I pressed on vergin mode in development mode on my screen and now the screen is off and intried to reset it with no joy. I have a megane 4 1.6 What can i do please ?

Hi A colleague from the Shr Lnm forum helped me turn on the radio. He generated a script for me to Pyrene on the basis of VIN. After uploading it, the radio started, it doesn't work for me only bluetooth and I'm still fighting with it. Regards.

I I'm from france and i have a problem with my r link 2 (MEGANE 4) the update had to crash and now i have a blackscreen and i don't have sound , the rlink 2 it's totally blocked. if somebody have a solution and can help me it would be very nice

That file was built specifically for that car. What issue do you have?

We can only reset the micom configuration by the "configuration reset" command by ELM, but it is not equal "virgin mode" from the developer side

My car is after water damage and r-link2 unit is not working properly. I bought used unit but have anti-theft on screen. There is no option to change VIN in r-link2 with ddt4all without going to virgin mode firstly?

Ohh.... Unfortunately I can not help in this case. Sorry. It can not be solved only by software. It require some hardware manipulations. I know that this is possible but I do not know how. Try to find folks who knows how to do it.

There is no way to clear/change the VIN through the CAN bus (only write into virginized device). You have to get an access to the screen and press "Virgin mode" button, but I understand that "Antitheft blocking" do not allows you to enter the developer menu ((

Moreover, antitheft blocking is not related to vin number of r-link2. It depends on VIN written in UCH and it is more harder to change it in UCH (even do no try it)

Sorry, I got a Renault GSIV 2017, and i entered Developer Mode, (I was wondering if I can turn ON RVC i had instaled by my own :). And stupidly presed Virgin Mode. Now My screen is dead. I have downloaded PyRen, started launcher, and run MACRO as in Your Instructions, and got Sound on. but screen dead as before. Need help. Thanks.

Have you tried all screen macro? Did r-link reloaded after each macro?

The Virgin Mode button was pressed in DeveloperSide. Can I initialize it using ddt4all?

Yes, r-link did reloaded after every macro, and 2min later radio station was turning on. I can change SOURCE and VOLUME by under steering wheel buttons. I did run PyRen on and check RADNAV module, there is no VIN number :( when every other module did have correct VIN number.

At the moment i came home, after running Your code. You are genius! R-link works. Only problem is no NAVIGATION. Is any solution on that case?? Thanks a lot, great Job!

Hello shrlnm! I did the same thing as my predecessors - virginised my r-link. Elm USB, COM port 4, VIN: VF1RFB00153649702 . Could you please help me? Thank You in advance!

Hello Shrlnm! After restoration R-Link, the maps did not become in the device. I turned to the officials. Reflash R-Link to 7v, the maps did not. Personally, 2 times reinstalled map v18.12. Installation is successful, but navigation is not working. Need help. Thanks.

I have a second-hand rlink that came with the anti-theft activated. How can I reset it? Is it possible to change the VIN number? @shrlnm can you help me?

@Rcarnero73 I only know that it is possible to temporary disable this blocking screen by wiring manipulation with pins on one off pinout. After that you will be able to do virginizing procedure. But, unfortunately I do not know exact details and can not help you. Sorry.

I have megane 4 2019.I tried to upgrade my r-link 2 V8 to V9 by myself.It began to restart in 2 minute cycles.I can't command it.Can i recover it by pressing virgin mode button? @shrlmn can you help me please.

I have read all the forums so far. I tried all four macros above. However, my screen still won't turn on. I get USB communication and pelepathic errors when I connect with Pyren. (DF106 and DF090) How can I get this screen back. Oddly enough, v9 boots for two minutes with the USB stick I installed, but it doesn't let me virgil. @shrlnm
