Usage without YAML documentation #34

In the slides (page 28) there is mentioned that it is possible to use mETL without the YAML configuration files but i cant find any documentation for this. https://speakerdeck.com/bfaludi/extract-transform-load-using-metl-1

You can find examples for using within Python in the tests folder. However, the second major version of mETL will change the Python API drastically which hides beneath the Yaml configuration.

I believe you should check the daprot package. It'll be the schema prototyping layer of mETL 2.0 and maybe it's enough for you right now.

@bfaludi Don't mean to hijack this thread @delijati ... but happened upon this as I look to evaluate mETL. How exactly do you envisage daprot working with mETL 2.0 and is there a time-frame for version 2.0. Is there any docs you can point me to in terms of what you are envisaging for version 2.0? Many thanks.
