Chadwick is a collection of command-line utility programs for extracting information from baseball play-by-play and boxscore files in the DiamondWare format, as used by Retrosheet (http://www.retrosheet.org).
The latest release of Chadwick is 0.10.0.
Chadwick is written and maintained by T L Turocy (ted.turocy@gmail.com), and is Copyright (C) 2002-2023 by T L Turocy and Chadwick Baseball Bureau.
Chadwick is Open Source software, distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL).
Releases are managed via the github repository; see https://github.com/chadwickbureau/chadwick/releases.
Compilation is via the standard autotools method, i.e.: ./configure make make install
Chadwick is written in fairly standard conservative C, and should build on OS X and Linux/Un*x systems.
Chadwick may also be packaged in your favourite package manager.
