Currently, when selecting a date for finding contracts using the date slider after choosing either backtrack or real-time data feed, it is challenging to pinpoint the exact date desired due to the lack of precise indicators. Although there's an option to manually input the date in the format YYYYMMDD, this method lacks the convenience and visual feedback provided by the slider. The absence of a tooltip on the date slider makes it difficult to pinpoint the exact date for contract lookup.
Describe the solution you'd like I propose the introduction of a tooltip that appears when a user hovers over or holds the date slider. This tooltip would display the exact date currently under the slider, providing immediate visual feedback and allowing for a more accurate selection, formatted as YYYY/MM/DD.
