Feature Requested

I found that a lot of content can only be searched using Zothero: https://alfred.app/workflows/giovanni/zothero/ How can I improve the search capability of alfred-bibtex-citation-picker? BTW, the support for Chinese doesn't seem to be very good, does it? Thank you.

For both, missing content and Chinese support, please open a bug report.

Without the information that the bug report form asks for, I am not able to do anything.

SCP works with BibTeX across multiple reference managers like JabRef, Bookends or Zotero. For Zotero it is your responsibility to make sure you are syncing your database to a BibTeX file, and that you use BibTeX fields you want to search for. So check your BibTeX file has the correct fields exported. For example with Bookends I can tune the BibTeX fields to export exactly what I want and SCP uses that information (Bookends is super flexible).

For Chinese, you'll need a clear bug report to explain what the problem is (Chinese unicode codepoints are not common for western users) but it certainly may be that SCP's scripts have not been tested much on Chinese codepoints...

@chrisgrieser @iandol Can I use this database file to search for literature? image

No, only .bib files are supported
