💻 Getting Started
To get a local copy up and running, follow these steps:
Prerequisites
Internet connection to clone this repo
Setup
Clone this repository to your desired folder:
cd my-folder
git clone git@github.com:christianonoh/ToDoList.git
Install
No installation needed.
Usage
Adding a new task
- To add a new task, enter a description in the "Add a task" input field and click the "Add" button. The new task will be added to the task list.
Marking a task as completed
- To mark a task as completed, click the checkbox next to the task description. The task will be marked as completed and crossed out.
Editing an existing task
- To edit an existing task, click on the task description. The description will become editable. Make the desired changes and press "Enter" to save the changes.
Deleting an existing task
- To delete an existing task, click on the trash icon next to the task description. The task will be removed from the task list.
Local storage
- The task list is persisted in local storage, so you can close and reopen the application without losing your tasks.
