Update MMC Activities sort order from oldest to newest

Activities are listed in most recently added order as opposed to the order they were added in MMC page

Is there anything else we should know?

Would like activities to be listed 'left to right' - IE first activity is first added, then second, etc. Currently the first activity is the most recent activity, IE last activity added.

@amenity since there are multiple filters on this page, would need to confirm they would want this for all filters. The oldest records also go years back unless they actually want records sorted by Created Date instead of the Updated Date.

Since TMC Activities field is not a Connection field and is a related field grouping, there is no current way to adjust the ordering of the the TMC Activities column. Adjusting sort order or the Multi Choice field order itself will not change this ordering. it is the default formatting applied by Knack where newer values/records are prepended to the list.

I will message Knack to see if this can be changed but the alternative solution I would suggest for this would be to turn the column into a linked field with an icon (similar to View/Details columns) and have a modal page open up with the list/table of activities in their correct ordering as can be seen on the MMC Issue Details page.

Ideally, these activities will appear with the newest first, e.g. "Identify Asset" first, here: .

@dianamartin thinks that there might have been custom code that did this at one point, @chiaberry - can you check if there's something that's not rendering anymore?

If it's not an easy code revision, Ally said that this is not a big deal, everyone has gotten used to it.
