How might we provide authoritative, helpful documentation on best practices and resources to help City staff deliver high quality, accessible web services?

ATD workgroups frequently need to engage with external vendors to deliver digital services. Some examples include:

Smart Trips Austin — website promoting the Smart Trips program to Austin residents
Commute Solutions — platform for City staff to track commutes
Get There ATX — resource for Austinites to learn about multimodal transportation options

Spoke with Mateo about this task - the need for a set of standards/best practices for digital service or content delivery. This guidance can help ATD groups who outsource web design/development to external vendors ensure that their applications meet accessibility, usability, and security standards.

Iceboxing this until a use case arises... In the meantime, the UT content has been really built out and I think we could refer people there in a pinch.
