@johnclary - did you have a name for this already, or should I make a Product: Dockless Licensing
label?
@amenity there is no label for this product.
Note that there is a prototype for this.
@JaceDeloney @johnclary - Adding this to the PM Sync agenda for next week so we can prioritize it.
@JaceDeloney - according to our workflow, the next step here would be a Product Brief. But I've been rethinking the utility of a brief. Something to think about while you're doing this.
Status Update We have had two Sprint Reviews with the Shared Mobility Services Team thus far. The Shared Mobility Operations Dashboard now enables staff to view information on monthly trip reporting and permitting. We are currently enhancing the homepage and provider page.
Overall, there is concern about the changing nature of shared mobility regulations and processes. I will be writing up some process change recommendations for the Shared Mobility Services Team that will be discussed during our next Sprint Review Meeting next week. Since their process is in such a dynamic state, we are going to recommend that we deliver a v1 that meets their base-level needs and then give them time to enact some of the changes to their process that they've been discussing. Scope for v1 should be shared during next week's Sprint Review meeting
@SurbhiBakshi demoed the Shared Mobility Operations Dashboard for me 6/22/21.
A centralized operations management system for the Dockless Mobility Program. This product allows Shared Mobility staff to store and track all program Dockless Mobility Program data here, such as licensing, billing, contacts, trip data, etc. The solution also allows staff to query reports and be able to send notifications to all providers.

Background & Context
There is no centralized tracking system for the coordination and licensing for the dockless mobility program. This causes extreme administrative waste with majority of time spent on maintaining dozens of different spreadsheet and creating manual reminder notices to coordinate with providers on permit renewals for various zones. Handling hundreds of CSR's monthly that have to be coordinated with staff to close within internal CSR system, creating CSR's to be constantly late to complete and providing no reporting data to refer back to for company compliance.
Technology
This product uses MDS to interface with mobility provider trip data. It also uses Knack to store data and to provide a GUI for city staff to access provider information.
