Help finalize a framework for our Signs & Markings maintenance plans #12124

Describe the problem.

SMD would like Christina T.'s time to help finalize a framework for our maintenance plans. Below is my vision and the need that SMD has. We are having a workshop on Tuesday, May 2 to focus on how to cross the finish line.

  1. Update decision tree with current data (Need) a. Decision tree data includes spatial information as well as budget/cost information: HIN, school areas, known maintenance dates, equity zones, in-house/contractor pricing
  2. Look at budget to determine which decision tree “bucket(s)” we can afford to do.
  3. Geospatially map those buckets to create work orders for the Inspector to determine condition (Good, Fair, Poor) and informs if work needs to be done that year or can be pushed a year or more. (Need)
  4. Determine if that work is on a street that will be resurfaced and/or if there are ATSD/TED/etc. plans for reconfiguration, etc.
  5. GIS to Knack to create maintenance work orders for the technicians and contractors (Need)
  6. Completed work tickets input into Knack by technicians.
  7. GIS QA/QC to populate GIS.
  8. GIS updates decision tree to report progress. (Need)
  9. Repeat.

Workshop for Tuesday, May 2nd was cancelled. I will follow up with Lauren on if there is a plan to reschedule.

The workshop was tabled based on a conversation that Lauren had with Jim. Not sure when it will be scheduled.
