Phase I: Support Service Foundation handoff coordination meetings were completed with a meeting between CDS and TPW Administration teams on 7/27.
At last week's Executive Team meeting, Michael obtained approval to move forward with the TPW Service Transition Workshops as proposed. We'll be conducting four separate workshops, each with two Assistant Directors' respective divisions. This week, we're meeting with Lewis L. and Reiner H. to review our proposed workshop agenda and make modifications as needed based on their divisions' needs.

Project Plan
Phase 1: Support Service Foundation
Meetings between support service groups at TPW and CDS to hand off tasks and processes as needed.
Goals • TPW and CDS support divisions hand-off tasks. • Reorganized TPW divisions are prepared to serve their new and larger department in FY24.
Outcomes Support services capacity building
Phase 2: Operational Needs Assessment
Assistant Directors, division managers, supervisors, and other invited staff participate in one of five group work sessions. After learning about TPWs support services as a group, attendees will participate in division break-out sessions to build on conversations from prior merger workshops. • Operational and strategic division staff learn about TPW support services and meet contacts for each support service division. • Determine which TPW support services can support each divisions' strategic goals and address their most pressing challenges. • Compile and prioritize needs for each TPW support service so those teams have information needed to deliver services efficiently
Goals Operational & strategic divisions will walk away with: • Knowledge of TPW support services available and who to reach out to • Documentation of their critical needs and business goals for the upcoming year in the context of the new department
Support divisions will walk away with: • Clarity about the most pressing needs across the department to facilitate efficient service delivery
Phase 3:
On an as-needed basis, address the needs of operational divisions for support from the new Business Support Services and Chief of Staff divisions (HR, Finance, PIO, DTS, OPM, etc.)
