MAXIMO is a City of Austin enterprise work order management system used by Street and Bridge Operations and managed by the Transportation Public Works (TPW) Maximo team. MAXIMO is used to receive, respond, and report requests from Austin 3-1-1, Austin Water's INFOR, and Pavement Management Information System.

• If you are an existing user, you will use your City e-mail and password as your login.
• If you are a new user or need troubleshooting support, you will need to submit a DTS Service Request, select Other under what application are you using?, and indicate in the Describe your request in detail box what issue you are having.

Background & Context

Several departments within the City of Austin have been using MAXIMO for about a decade. TPW/SBO primarily uses this system to track all work related to maintaining the right-of-way. Our user groups includes:

• Operations: District Maintenance, Utilities & Structures, Pavement Operations, Urban Forestry
• Infrastructure Management group
• Performance Management

Technology

Maximo is an IBM SaaS solution, that runs on a DB2 database. It's Java based and runs in conjunction with Websphere as middleware; the JVMs are Linux.
