At last check-in we were told the automation process was ~80% complete. Next meeting on 12/6. AECOM expects to complete work in January.

Met last week. Project is coming along, but there are concerns of running out of budget for the considerable QAQC process. Waiting for a budget from Kyle Williams (AECOM) and may use ad-hoc GIS hours that we have available as part of augmentation contract.

Met with Sam Higgins on 2/21 to check in on progress. Budget has run out to complete the QA process but there may be funding elsewhere. Sam will provide me and Amica with cost estimates.

Spoke with Amica today. We are in agreement that the ideal option will be to fund completion of this project with available funds from the existing contract. She's looking to confirm availability but go-ahead is likely.

Kicking off phase 2 next week.
@johnclary - plz assign to Sprint 1 if this is going to be worked on in this sprint. 🙏
@alan-deanda have you been provided with any data for QA/QC?
@johnclary, no at the last meeting they were interested in starting a Teams channel to share their progress tracking with us, but COA doesn't allow Teams channels with people outside the organization. @dianamartin , did they send you any data to QA?
@alan-deanda AECOM did not email me or share a channel with me. Nada
Status Update I will be taking over this project starting in July. Next steps are to meet with Alan on the status of AECOM's GIS project. I will then begin meeting with stakeholders to identify a process to handle new updates to the registry. The tool we will use for this is TBD.
An effort to digitize all ~50k street regulations in a geospatial database, as well as set up sustainable processes to keep the Traffic Registry accurately maintained.
Background
The registry includes more than 50k regulations, and is currently managed in Access DB, without any spatial data features. This has limited ATD's ability to keep the registry up-to-date and combine the data with other data sources.
Scope & Deliverables
As part of this effort, we are re-designing the process by which regulations are authored into the traffic registry, and migrating the registry itself into a web-based workflow management system. Digitization work is in progress via contract services from AECOMM. We have not yet begun work on the workflow management application that will support the regulation process going forward.
Desired Outcomes
Impact this project can have, success metrics
Timebox
This project should be completed in 2021.
