Reviewers need solution for updating an existing UC review determination #13185

Describe the problem.

NO NEW USER REQUEST FORM submitted.

In the UC folders, reviewers are able to make multiple result attempts that do not update the initial review attempt result. This is resulting in case managers not able to verify the most recent status of a review, and customers do not see the latest attempt on the ABC portal as well.

Example: 2023-043501 for process 51330(Watershed Engineering Review). Initial rejection was 5/31/23. A second attempt, this time an approval, was made 6/20/23. Case manager and customer see only first rejection attempt when viewing Processes.

Reviewer should not be able to make multiple attempts in one process. They should contact the case manager to open up a new process.

Is there anything else we should know?

I have included an email where customer sent screenshot of how they can not view the multiple attempts in the ABC portal for their case.

Examples of how this plays out in real life---

  1. UC Reviewer rejects, then goes to the AULCC meeting and realize it can actually be approved/released. Then they'd like to change their review determination. Pepper wonders if SP already has a solution for this.
  2. It's a new review cycle and the reviewer doesn't see the new (open review) and instead are picking a closed one.
