In the UC folders, reviewers are able to make multiple result attempts that do not update the initial review attempt result. This is resulting in case managers not able to verify the most recent status of a review, and customers do not see the latest attempt on the ABC portal as well.
Example: 2023-043501 for process 51330(Watershed Engineering Review). Initial rejection was 5/31/23. A second attempt, this time an approval, was made 6/20/23. Case manager and customer see only first rejection attempt when viewing Processes.
Reviewer should not be able to make multiple attempts in one process. They should contact the case manager to open up a new process.
Is there anything else we should know?
I have included an email where customer sent screenshot of how they can not view the multiple attempts in the ABC portal for their case.
UC Reviewer rejects, then goes to the AULCC meeting and realize it can actually be approved/released. Then they'd like to change their review determination. Pepper wonders if SP already has a solution for this.
It's a new review cycle and the reviewer doesn't see the new (open review) and instead are picking a closed one.
I'm not sure the level of effort to deliver a solution for this is worth the value delivered. Are there enough examples of this happening that justifies this big lift?
Potential solution would be:
Adding an a new process attempt on all review processes for re-opening the process change determination
System would need to account for an existing related review comment doc - should be overwritten, deleted, left alone?? How would the system know?
How do we be sure the users only use this attempt when appropriate? Users are already missing the current open processes and trying to update old cycles. This could cause more problems than it solves.
Tracy is recommending we do nothing with this ticket. Although it represents a true need, it would take a customization on each folder process to show a user an alert when they are adding an attempt to an already closed process. Due to the ECM (AMANDA Replacement) this level of customization is not recommended and may not be supported in the new environment.
