Maximo SharePoint Resources Shortcut #14862

Research and find out if we can have a designated Shortcut on all TPW laptops/desktops for Maximo Sharepoint Resources

Communicated with Matt M. regarding pushing shortcuts to all desktops. Received guidance to reach out to John V. since he controls Active Directory groups, which this type of work would fall under.

No we do not. If you would like one pushed out to ALL TPW computers, I could get CTM to do that. Please send the shortcut

@scottreedy are we able to add this shortcut to a group of users that have Maximo actually downloaded on their PCs?

The shortcut below: https://cityofaustin.sharepoint.com/:u:/r/sites/MaximoResources/SitePages/LearnHome.aspx?csf=1&web=1&e=NACow6 could be pushed by Hungerford I believe. I would need a list of computers to give him, or we could email the shortcut out to them?

@scottreedy we're working on changing the Maximo SharePoint site, so the web url may change. We can circle back around when it's more in a final stages. However, if we send Jim a list, there will be new users rotating in due to staff changes regularly. We could email the shortcuts or show everyone how to make shortcuts, I showed Adry and easy way to train on how to do that.

@rebekkabry I like that idea, if that's the case then we can have this as a discussion in the next maximo sync since the last update was regarding a change in URL for the sharepoint!
