Knack Directory in DTS Portal

User Stories

• As a Knack user (TPW Staff), I would like to quickly access any Knack app that I have access to.
• As a DTS team member, I would like the ability to share out a single link to staff to access any Knack app
• As a DTS team member, I would like to see a comprehensive list of all Knack apps and navigate to any Knack app without having to save each as a bookmark

Context

1. DTS now manages 15+ Knack apps. The Knack Directory feature is meant to improve the navigation for all TPW Staff and DTS Team Members and improve the burden of sharing links and having staff being aware of all the apps we manage and all the work we do. Amenity suggested it be built on the DTS Portal.
2. Made the discovery that we could add our Knack apps with Microsoft Entra to the M365 waffle (all apps) for users or groups. This could be a great way for people to quickly access our apps in a single location and it automatically signs them in with SSO if they have an account.
3. Additionally, we could post this link on our SharePoint site for ease of use

Prototypes

Design Review & Completion

Once prototyping is complete, a collaborative review should take place and we can decide as a team which prototype option is preferred or a possible combination of options. Once a decision is reached, notify TPW staff of the new directory.
