Describe the problem.

The SMD Team would like to request a meeting with your team. We would like to discuss where in a Knack work order would be a good spot for engineers who are submitting work orders to list the approximate amounts of materials that may be needed to complete the work. This information would prove to be useful for ensuring appropriate levels of stock, given the transition of materials management from SMD to Finance. We would like to send a meeting request for a brainstorming session. Please let us know if it's okay to do so and who to invite. Thank you.

The goal is to have a sustainable method of ensuring that SMD is provided with enough materials to perform work.

• Rough estimates of materials would be useful for the inventory team.
• Would request that every designer provide that information
• SMD needs to have a discussion with the Requesters to see if they would be open to the idea of providing quantities. They plan to bring it up during a Requester Prioritization.
