Enhancement: [Living Streets 2.0+ | Reconfigure Living Streets Timeframe for Applicants]

As an Applicant, I want to be able to select an installation cycle rather than a specific start date so that I can indicate the quarter/cycle when I'd like my installation to take place even when actual start dates are determined by program priorities, funding, and resource availability.

AND

As a Living Streets Staff reviewer, I want to be able to receive and organize application by installation cycle/quarter AND manually indicate the start and end dates so that we can both allow Applicants to choose their installation cycle and length and also not overpromise for a specific start date beyond program capacity.

Related to a problem?

• Current model has Applicants select Preferred Start Date and Duration
• This date will almost always be changed and cannot be guaranteed by the program
• Funding model requires that the installations take place in overlapping cycles

Desired Outcome?

• Initial EOI: Applicant can select from the available installation cycles/cohorts/quarters (name TBD) and indicate preferred duration of the activation
• Reviewer Portal: Reviewer can organize records based on cohort, and can manually assign the start date for an activation when known; when the approvals for a cohort are completed, the deferred requests should bump over to the next review cycle (we need more rules and details on this)
• Applicant Portal: Applicant can view the specific start date of their activation by logging into their Applicant Portal account

Additional Context?

• This requires adding the cohort/cycle/quarter as its own object and configuring rules on which ones to display for selection; that requires for the program to have a plan for these cycles and a sense of how they want to name them (2)
• Significant reconfiguration will be required across the EOI (1); Applicant Portal (2), and Reviewer Portal (2) - each instance will have multiple views and rules that need to be updated to reflect the new model
• Existing records must be updated to include the new model; this is likely a (1) unless unknown complications arise
• 🚨 NOTE - This should be considered for a POST-2.0 enhancement. There is no bandwidth to incorporate it now nor is it wise to make such a major additional change while we expand the application structure.
