What application are you using?

Other / Not sure

Describe the problem.

In the G Drive, I am occasionally unable to create, rename, or delete folders. This seems to be an access/permissions or Windows issue. I am able to sometimes able create, rename, or delete. So the issue is somewhat sporadic.

Told Sean I am here most every day now. Finally was able to see the error(s). It say an unexpected error occurred. It did not say he did not have permission to change the name. Wondering if this is an AI MIcrosoft Defender problem or if I need to ask Jim Cross.

scottreedy commented 3 weeks ago

Sent Adnan the information to see if he thought it was an AI Defender problem.

scottreedy commented 3 weeks ago

Adnan said he did not thing it was a defender problem, so I asked Jim Cross.

Jim,

Sean M. and Reza V. get these periodic errors when trying to create or modify folders under \coacd.org\dfs\tpw\atd\ATD\Arterial Management tree They are in 2 groups with modify rights the the Arterial Management folder and below. I checked the permissions on the subfolders where the either wanted to change a folder name or create a folder and they had modify permissions.

This last error came up on a newly created folder, about 10-20 seconds old. Nothing was in it. \coacd.org\dfs\tpw\atd\ATD\Arterial Management\Signal Locations\Traffic Signals

These 2 errors may not show up for a day, week or 2 weeks. Then, they will get the errors for a while.

Very weird.

Any ideas?
