Enhancement - Finance SR Job Approval

• Need to have the current process changed from approval of the Service Request to approval of each job on the Service Request. Now they are using Teams message to request Tim to approve a job on the Service Request.
• Most jobs require Tim's approval except New FDU
• If a SR has multiple jobs, all the jobs need to be approved before the SR moves forward
• Diana suggested building a page for Tim that would display all the jobs that he needs to approve
• Questions:
  • Should the jobs be displayed by Job Type, by Assign To, by Service Request
  • who will change the SR status to Complete

Messaged stakeholders

Hey there, I've been working on the "Job Status" enhancement and am at the point where I can bulk update the job records and their status. Did y'all want me to update "706" job records that have an SR of "Completed"?

I've already updated 34 records of jobs that are associated to "Cancelled" SR Statuses

They said

If it's easy and they just stay in complete but are job separated that is totally fine!

I replied

Okay, I updated those jobs and update the filter on the "Manage Jobs" page, so now Tim will only see jobs marked as "NEEDS REVIEW"

Sharon is saying that Tim wasn't able to "Close" a job. It turns out that he's already "Closed" the SR and not taken action on the job line item.

Will have to add trigger buttons to the "View" only tables.

9/18/24 Stakeholders were happy with the enhancements. Will leave the issue open until end of week, giving them a few days to work in the system with the enhancements.
