Living Streets has collected 6 months of active data that will be compiled into a review document. We believe the best method for an executive summary would be a story because of the geographic nature of the information.

• DTS to help with the data
• LS to help determine what content to include in the story map
• PIO did the story map and DTS published (Noelle)

To do

• Need to look at templates
• References artbox, housing Prioritization map
• Update miroboard with Story map info
• send out meeting invite to convene everyone

Note

• TPW doesn't want to be in the business of maintaining story maps, we want to only provide assistance with data.
• Expectation should be a day of training and then they can maintain.

Had a discussion with Zach about building story maps, we talked about the need to have the content first before we build anything. And that most divisions work directly with PIO build these out.

We recommend

• Sending the LS team some examples of what can be built
• LS team builds out an outline in a word document
  • Take screen shots of what types of maps to include
• LS can integrate webmaps on their own, there's documentation in the training that we send to them
• But LS will need to review and work with PIO to do the build out
• Once the SM is finished then LS can contact DTS before it gets published (only DTS has publisher credentials)

Notes

• Zach has training documents (G:\ATD\ATD_GIS\DTS_GIS_Documentation\ESRI_Training\Creating Stories with ArcGIS) for how to build story maps so that LS can get started on building their own.
• There's a possibility of LS going through CTM to get formal training for Story Maps which we could help facilitate
• LS can theoretically start creating their own own Story map without us because they already have access through their email account.
