Discuss Work Order Intake Modification Request from SBOBRIG for OCE

Background

In efforts to standardize SBO Work Order Handling, SBOBRIG has requested that OCE modify the current work order intake process. Process modification requested and approved on USD by Clay R.

Current Process:

• TxDOT sends OCE Inspection Reports including various priority level of SBOBRIG service needs.
• Each inspection report includes services needs and anaylsis for a single bridge asset.
• OCE will upload files to the GDrive, send email communication and or create a work order in MAXIMO for the need.

Requested Process Modificaiton:

• [ ] OCE continues to upload files as currently done
• [ ] For each inspection report,
  • [ ] create a work order (that will serve as the PARENT work order for investigations and attach to the children that will be created upon the service need.
  • [ ] assign a priority based for our team to evaluate order of service time.
