Teams meeting to discuss where we are regarding the PHB process.

• Andres compared the original PHB Streets to the PHB Streets split by the ASMP intersection polygon layer. We will be moving forward with the split streets.
• I had done some more research into the ASMP street network and found that most streets that we are interested in are coded for Existing Cross Section (# of lanes, divided road) and street levels are more useful then the CFCC codes that the street segment layer uses.
• We are going to start by using Street Levels 2 (collector), 3 (minor arterial), 4 (major arterials, filter out frontage roads)
• Alan finished with the speed limit data from Frank and should not be too difficult to get the data to the ASMP layer for processing
• Since the HIN was created off the ASMP, this will be an easy change.
• Public Transit bus route layer is not coincident with any data, so this will be the most time intensive translation over to ASMP street network from the street segment layer.
• Add new fields for Total Demand, Total Risk, and Total Safety next to the Total Rank field to help AMD with further analysis to determine new scoring for crosswalks and RRFBs in addition to PHBs.

@johnclary My meeting with AMD was very productive. We are going to switch to the ASMP Street Network layer from the Street Segment layer which will align their work with the VZ Team much nicer, plus more useful information is available on this dataset. I will be working to move my scripts over to the ASMP and modify any criteria datasets to align with ASMP. See above for notes from our meeting.
