[Feature] Incorporate B-cycle data into Shared Micromobility Dashboard #3170

What application are you using?

Data Tracker

Describe the problem.

For the Shared Micromobility Dashboard, is there a way we could incorporate B-cycle data here? Since the dashboard doesn't specify docked vs. dockless, maybe we could add this into the dashboard. Since we no longer have any dockless bikeshare active in Austin, people are assuming that the 0 bicycle trip data means we don't have any bike trips at all, and it'd be great if we could incorporate B-cycle data here. However, the B-cycle data set has not been updated since December 2019. Any and all help would be appreciated. https://data.austintexas.gov/Transportation-and-Mobility/Austin-B-Cycle-Trips/tyfh-5r8s

Describe the outcome you'd like to see when this feature is implemented.

ATD will have more complete data on how shared mobility services are being used in the city. A lot of news outlets refer to this dashboard to provide opinions on shared mobility in the city and they don't know to look for B-cycle data in our discussion of bike-share.

Describe any workarounds you currently have in place or alternative solutions you've considered.

I've been asking the bike-share program manager for B-cycle data to report out to our collaborators.

Is there anything else we should know?

No hard deadline. Very much a preference to include this data.

@JaceDeloney - tossing this your way.

@amenity @patrickm02L moving this to the icebox. Since we deprecated our own micrmobility dashboard, this request would entail either (1) asking Ride Report to incorporate our metrobike trips to their dashboard, or (2) create a new Metrobike dashboard in the Data & Performance hub.

@johnclary great! Thanks for the heads up.
