Susanne had shown me the DSD airtable, and I believe that a tracking system of events/public processes is something that could be really helpful to public engagement folks. When we were still going to events we were relying on a google sheet to track events, make sure people knew what events were happening when, increase staff coverage, etc. Our group doesn’t have an actual calendar (we played around with trying to use an outlook or google calendar, but it ended up being a little more trouble than necessary), but it is intriguing to hear that one of those does exist somewhere in ATD.
I also have some other thoughts on what a shared calendar/event app could do for community outreach/engagement staff. I would be happy to discuss this if we are in a brainstorming stage.
