EAZ zones

• Dan met with Andrew, Laura, and Anna to discuss a prioritization and basic visualization of scores for the ASMP
• This is an opportunity to see what’s missing from the data
• New 5 year data just came out last Thursday
• There is overlap between the EAZs and Renée’s PHB ranking process
  • EAZ had a a lot of transparency and community input in the process and this is really important; data needs to reflect people’s reality
  • Is there an opportunity to reduce maintenance redundancies there?
• Going beyond basic “contains”/counts analysis — people travel in a network, how might we weight things by their impact on community travel
• Foreseen complications
  • 4 EA Zones might meet at an intersection; will need to make decisions about buffer/radius calculations to score

Next steps: Meet with Andrew to see where he's at

• Understand what was requested of him
• Are there limitations to what he can do in GIS that we could cover in PowerBI?
• Are there other ways we could help, given he's stepping up as GIS lead and Jaime's leaving

If we end up doing 👆 without Moped data, discussed using project timelines as something to visualize since that's important data for AMD.

@mateoclarke @Charlie-Henry @johnclary - Thought about this some more and I think that Moped data isn't complete and mature enough to make this work impactful. Looking at the 2022 MAP, however, I think that the data model and data is similar enough to Moped that any visualizations/analysis we unlock there could then be applied to Moped data down the line. So let's

• See if we can support Andrew #8733
• Talk with Renée, Ivonne, and Brian to determine what we could do with Moped data in PowerBI that would be most helpful to them
