The CTN-based base geography we are using for project components is not granular enough for sidewalk project data. Public Works and Corridor Program Office (CPO builds many sidewalks) would need to be able to select from a sidewalk base layer.
Sidewalks (John E.'s team w/ Bryan T.'s support) is already maintaining a solid sidewalk base layer. CPO is currently tracking theirs separately.

Sidewalk Program Projects — those scheduled to begin within the next 30, 90 and 180 days. Sidewalk Program funding from 2016 bond, Quarter-Cent funds, fee-in-lieu, grants, and other sources.
Absent Sidewalk Network - with scoring results from very high to very low priority; updated Nov. 2017

6/23 Meeting with @johnclary, Nathan W., Bryan T. (PWD GIS), and John E. (Sidewalks Program Manager)
Recording
Sidewalks base layer
40-50 different attributes
Condition assessment for ADA - cross-slope, trip hazards
Program planning — e.g. level of need
Data frameworks need to serve long term maintenance needs, not just CIP
Tracks driveways in addition to sidewalks since that determines who's responsible for maintenance (sidewalk in front of driveway is maintained by property owner)
Feeds into Maximo
Currently based on CTM street centerlines; working toward tying all assets to segment IDs
Can CTN become the base geometry for sidewalks? Not as is; need to be able to select parts of a block (same with delineator posts)
Looking forward will want a geometry they can use for network analysis; may be simplified and based on CTN
Sidewalks in Moped:
Could add sidewalks base layer as selectable layer on map
Need many more discussions to consider how Moped users could update and create new sidewalk data
Pain point/Opportunity: Corridor Program is building more sidewalks than Sidewalks! So being able to see that in the same place would be huge
