Reviewing TIA Memos

• There are 3 folders, main folder (G:\Trans\Transportation & Engineering\Program & Project Delivery\TIA Fiscal Projects\TIA-Fee in Lieu Memos)
  • 154 PDF files
  • 39 PD files in "Scrubbed DSD TIA Memos"
  • 19 PDF files in "Old fiscal memos from DSD (Rose)"
• 2010 - scanned doc: date top left, first line
• 1995 - scanned doc Memo, 2 pgs, date is 3rd line

Notes

• Reviewed with John, looked up some cases in AMANDA AB+C Portal some case details pages had the Issue Date and some did not. Had to scroll to the "Processes and Notes" section to see the last meeting to see what date that was.
• So the thought of using AMANDA to pull dates could happen
• We thought that the time used to capture dates would be better if we 2-3 folks were assigned to do this for 2-3 days, it might not be worth getting a dev to write a script because the memo formats are drastically different from year to year.

@dianamartin - ooooh, I'd missed that comment! Thanks, @dianamartin. Took a look the spreadsheet you sent and that's promising. So between the file names and pulling from AMANDA, do you think we can put together all the dates we need?

I think it's possible it could be a combination of solutions that gets us what we need. There are a handful of PDFs thought that have like 40-60 pgs and have memos in there, I'm not sure entirely if they've all been separated out. I think talking to Sam H. from AECOM, he's currently augmented staff in TED. He was the one that worked on the project from what I remember, maybe he has some insight on it.

Emailed Sam 10/13 to see if he's the right person to talk to about the project.

@TracyLinder @Nadin-Nader - if we gave you a list of AMANDA case #s, could you pull out the date for a TIA mitigation fee payment for that case?

@amenity I don't think we started charging mitigation fees in AMANDA until Oct 2020. We should be able to pull data for after 10/2020
