Met with SMS stakeholders on 6/17 and did some testing/training on creating accounts and providers. Decided we're going to continue to test and improve the online application we have and start meeting monthly rather than biweekly.
We plan to help them update their drupal website (external facing) to streamline the content and navigation for a dockless mobility provider. Completed a similar project with the Street Banner program.
This was a great project! There are a few Issues that are related but they're more in the maintenance arena than the main project.
Digitized application and review platform that updates the current process for submitting shared mobility licenses.
Background
The current process include data exchange through PDFs and emails, which is inefficient and time consuming. Staff would like to minimize time for review and processing through an easier application process, which includes PDFs and map file uploads.
Scope & Deliverables
New and renewal intake form, evaluation platform with easily viewable attachments, review capacity between SMS and permitting teams.
Desired Outcomes
A simpler more efficient process will allow staff to dedicate more time for approving/rejecting applications, instead of facilitating the application fill out.
