New Report, Replacing OSE Parking Spreadsheet for big events

Describe the problem.

We would like a report for the Meter Shop that lists the information in AMANDA in a format that will be helpful for both of us.

Describe the outcome you'd like to see when this feature is implemented.

A spreadsheet that lists the information input into AMANDA from the portal and the AMANDA users at the Office of Special Events is useful for the Meter Shop to install materials on the ground.

Describe any workarounds you currently have in place or alternative solutions you've considered.

We currently have a separate spreadsheet that we update. What happens is that we will update AMANDA but then forget to update the spreadsheet for the Meter Shop and there will be items that don't get covered or are covered incorrectly.

Convo w/ Maria & Laura:

• For SXSW what usually happens is there is a spreadsheet provided by the even organizer of all their requests, then meter shop incorporates it into their spreadsheet

• During SXSW the closures were updating rapidly, and reflected in AMANDA, however the meter shop's spreadsheet doesn't get updated.

• Meter shop has their own spreadsheet format for the parking data. We need to automate it.

• OSE needs to keep track of all related permits to their event permit & make sure they're issued. (See Spring Festival spreadsheet)

• We need to meet w/ the meter shop about this. Probably bring in ROW. Maria will send out an invite.

Update: OSE met w/ Meter Shop to discuss creating a sample report for us to work with. Let's pick this up in November.

Scoping Notes: Staff is using this for bigger events like SXSW. It will be primarily used by the meter shop. It would not replace the SPOON report. The output needs to be a spreadsheet so users can manipulate the data as needed.
