I know we haven't had a huge conversation over things yet, but Anthony should be able to walk you through the MachineConfigs we need to generate for Trident, in order to make sure the cluster stays stable.

There is also a whitepaper here that can explain some of the performance limitations for OnTap and how to mitigate handle them. Namely the "RPC Slot tables" stuff relates to the machine config on page 91.
