EMIKAT WMS down?

@mattia-leone reported today that the HC-LE layers are not shown on the map. But I don't know which study he was using. Anyway, I've tested several studies and it looks like a general problem with EMIKAT's WMS. Currently, the following HC-LE / IA layers do no work:

• https://csis.myclimateservice.eu/study/35/step/1528/view/maps
• https://csis.myclimateservice.eu/study/1/step/83/view/maps
• https://csis.myclimateservice.eu/study/92/step/3122/view/maps

I'm now recalculating Study No. 1, so maybe this will resolve the issue at leat with study 1.

EMIKAT WMS delivers a transparent empty PNG: example request.

While this is hard to test against, would it be possible to return an error message (e.g. HTTP status 500) instead of the empty image? Then I could setup the monitoring service to create a new issue in https://github.com/clarity-h2020/csis-technical-validation/issues

While we are now moving to a production system, we have to detect and resolve such issues as soon as they arise.

No, even after re-calculating study1 (EMIKAT ID: 2846), WMS delivers and empty image.

I want to keep this issue open so that we can find a solution for error detection and quick remediation, e.g. in case this happens again during live webinar or any other demonstration of the system.
