Suggestion: Increased enemy melee speed option? #123

Would it be possible to add a custom difficulty option that generally increases the enemy melee speed? Enemy melees in this game are way too weak/exploitable. I think more would have to be done to really fix them but I believe simply increasing the speed would be a big improvement alone.

Also just a side note but this would pair really well with the speed modifier.

The melee attack logic itself for all enemies are tied to the animation sequence files (SEQ), as they are the ones that issue the frames to use/when to attack/call to vector scan trigger/etc. I can't speed these up without breaking a ton of stuff, and this sounds more of something that'd work better as a mod (like SmoothBlood).

Sorry but I must decline this feature, thanks anyway for the suggestion!
