Instructions for use: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Zg2FDt7awgfCmdcbzMwKHMb1A7KDOhs_z7ibCb3TLLQ/edit

  1. Fork the Code of Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy at https://github.com/codeforamerica/codeofconduct
  2. Update the Code of Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy with relevant contact information for your group. Note: It is very important that the contact information on the Anti-Harassment Policy is up-to-date and actionable for anyone wishing to report harassment. The point of contact should be a Brigade Captain or leader, core team member, or the organizer of the event.
  3. Publish the Code of Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy on your Brigade’s website, Meetup, GitHub account, Google Group, and any other forum for your Brigade.
  4. Publish the Code of Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy on the registration page for all Brigade events, including weekly/monthly meetups.
  5. Reference the Code of Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy in emails to Brigade members and event attendees. For example: “Code for San Francisco presenters and participants are held to an anti-harassment policy, which you can find at [link].”
