Welcome to the datasets repository of Code for Princeton.
Description
This repository is a catalog of the datasets collected from local organizations which are maintained here in their original form. Cleaned or reformatted versions may exist in their respective project repos.

Quick list of the datasets you will find here and we are working on more:
- Centerline GIS : GIS data received from Princeton Municipality for Boro and Township showing the center of the roads. Project started with additional details at: ptonGIS
- Energy Usage : Energy data o Gas and Electric usage 2009-2014 received from Sustainable Princeton categorized by Industrial, Commerical, and Residential. Project started with additional details at: ptonEnergy
- Princeton Elections : Elections Data for 2014 and District division received from Princeton Municipality. Project started with additional details at: ptonElections
- PU Art Museum : Subset of collection printed in 2013 Handbook along with geographic attributes received from Princeton University Art Museum (PUAM). Project to be launched shortly.
- Restaurant Health Inspection : Restaurant inspection results for 2014 and 2015 [ongoing] from the Princeton Health department. Project to be launched shortly.
- Carpool : Information on commuters in and out of Princeton prepared by Princeton Future.
Usage Notes
- Download or fork here for the original version of the dataset as we have received it
- If there is a dataset you want that we do not have, please open an issue, and ideally describe what you know about such data: any ideas on how opening the dataset can benefit the community, ideas for sources that already maintain such information and could open it, etc.
- If a cleaned or reformatted version of a dataset we do already have doesn't yet exist open an issue in the respective project repo or help us out by cleaning/reformatting and submit a pull request to the project repo.
