tooltips get stuck on mobile #38

I made a commit on #36 which takes care of some of these by preventing text selection, which for was causing some things to persist. Tooltips don't persist on my android or on a simulated iphone.

I can't reproduce on Android, but can on iOS. Still thinking about what a good fix is, though.
