This looks good, @johnarban - thanks! @heywooddogwood and I are looking into restructuring the date time grid into columns instead of rows so the tab order goes year up -> year down -> month up -> month down etc rather than year up -> month up -> day up etc. If we don't succeed we will let you know!

Also, I noticed only "mon" had a dot indicating it was an abbreviation, so I removed it, but then it looked like "mon day" so I shortened it to mo and then shortened others to 2-3 letters for consistency. If you don't like it, we can discuss other abbreviation options.
