Common Media Client Data

Common Media Client Data (CMCD) is a specification produced by the CTA WAVE project. Version 1 is complete and was published in Sept 2020. It is free to use and may be downloaded here. A CMCDv1 Validator library has been built by Montevideo-tech, along with a CMCD Analyzer.

We are now working on version 2 of CMCD. Meetings began on Sept 28, 2023. To get involved, contact CTA WAVE project.

The draft version of CMCDv2 is available in this google doc.
