I will resolder the joints just in case and get another SD card. When I use examples from the SD library I can read / write without problems. When the SD card is removed it also reboots in a loop. I will start with the solder joints.
One other thing I am wondering about, when it boots up and I can edit wifi settings and such, if I would open Slot settings it always triggers a reboot loop. In the monitor it says can´t open Config.json and Default.json - would that cause a reboot ?

Check your power supply, possibly the MIC power supervisory issues a reset upon power draw, when wifi is enabled. You can try to remove the MIC chip...

The rebooting is fixed by removing the MIC803 chip, thanks :)
I can load samples to it through the browser, but it seems to overwrite config.json file with a blank one and if I open Slot menu it resets with this :

The SD card holder I have is missing one pin - pin1 / DAT2, that is not used in the code or in the schematic. Could that cause any problems ?
All files/folders are automatically created when you boot Strämpler with a freshly FAT32 formatted SD card. Remove the card only when the module is powered off, otherwise the card can be damaged. You can copy a bootlogo to the root, e.g. this one https://github.com/ctag-fh-kiel/ctag-straempler/blob/master/bootlogo/bootlogo.bmp but it is not required. You can edit the config.jsn on your PC if you want, entering freesound account data (remember remove/insert sd card only when module powered off)...

I have only tried with one SD card but this looks like there is a problem with it I guess. When I use the flash.sh file, the files are written to the card and the SD examples work fine. This is the serial monitor output :
